In 1916, Adeline Van Buren became the first woman to drive her motorcycle across the country with her sister Augusta. Her story is the inspiration behind our Quilted Biker Jacket. Made from 27 quilt pieces, 5 zippers and 20 snaps, these intricate and structured jackets are the definition of wearable art. Featuring zippered front pockets, lapels that snap to the body of the jacket, epaulet tabs at the shoulders, and snapped tabs at the back of the waistband for an adjustable fit, the Adeline Jackets are a labor of love, from us to you.

About the Quilt: This quilt was sourced in California and uses pastel floral fabrics to make up an Around the World Quilt pattern. Super soft and plush, this quilt will have some visible mending in areas where the fabric has come undone, but the fabrics themselves are in very good condition. It is a new quilt, estimated to have been made in the 1980's-90's.
